Privacy Policy

The short version
FluxFile processes all files entirely inside your browser. Your documents are never uploaded to our servers, never stored, and never shared with third parties. Closing or refreshing the tab clears your file from memory.
What we collect
- Analytics (optional). We use Google Analytics 4 to count page visits and tool usage in aggregate only after you accept analytics via the consent banner shown on your first visit. No personally identifying information or file content is included. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking “Reject” in the consent banner (accessible by clearing
fluxfile-analytics-consentfromlocalStorage). - LocalStorage. We store your theme preference (dark/light) and your analytics consent choice locally on your device using
localStorage. This data is never sent to our servers. You can clear it at any time through your browser's developer tools.
File processing
All conversion, compression, splitting, merging, and other file operations run using JavaScript and WebAssembly libraries loaded into your browser. Files are read via the browser File API and processed on your device. At no point is file content transmitted to any FluxFile server.
Third-party services
- Google Analytics 4 — aggregate usage statistics. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
GDPR / CCPA
Because FluxFile does not store personal data on its servers, most data-subject rights (access, deletion, portability) can be exercised locally through your browser settings. For questions about analytics data held by Google, see Google's data controls.
California residents: we do not sell personal information. FluxFile does not maintain a profile of individual users.
